Eligibility Criteria CBI Assistant Programmer Requirement

Age limit:

• UR/EWS: 30 years
• OBC: 33 years
• SC/ST: 35 Years

Educational Qualification for CBI Assistant Programmer Requirement

(A) A masters degree in computer science, computer application, or masters degree in technology (with a focus on computer applications), or a bachelors degree in computer engineering, computer science, or computer technology from an accredited university or institute.

(B) (i) A bachelors degree in computer application, computer science, electronics, or electronics and communication engineering from an accredited university; and 

(ii) two years of experience working with electronic data, including real-world programming experience, from an accredited institution, offices of the federal government, state governments, union territories, autonomous or statutory organizations, public sector enterprises, universities, or recognized research institutes. 

(C) (i) Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application delivered under a University Program or Level diploma under the Department of Electronic Accredited Computer Courses Program: and

(ii) three years of experience processing electronic data, including actual programming experience from a recognized institution, a central government office, a state government office, a union territory, an autonomous or statutory organization, a public sector undertaking, a university, or a recognized research institute. 

DESIRABLE: Experience with RISC-based computer systems running UNIX or UNIX-like operating systems, Windows networking, or the Windows environment; programming knowledge in C, C Plus, or Visual C Plus; and knowledge with Oracle and Relation Data Base Management Systems.
